The Multiplayer mode is user freindly and a lot of fun, and their are thousands of skins and mods to download. The voice cast is great, and some great acting from the guy who plays Luke Skywalker (one level you get to fight alongside Luke Himself, a great touch) And Billy Dee Williams himself provides the voice for Lando Carlrissian, although it sounds like he had a cold when he he was in the recording studio. One on one duels can be hectic, adrenaline inducing affairs, and when that kill strike happens in slow mo, you'll feel proud.īeginners will have problems getting through the game, and there are many chalenges to get through, but after some practise, you'll feel like Obi Wan Reborn. Go to the options menu and set the Slow Mo Kill to full, and you are treated to a Matrix-style spin around of the kill, and when a limb is lopped off (only arms and hands, no heads) this is a fantastic effect.Īs you progress through the game, more force powers and more advanced lightsaber skill levels become open to you, and before the final level, you'll be slaying Dark Siders left right and center. Lightsaber combat can be veiwed from both 1st and 3rd person perspective, as can gun fighting, 3rd PP is a lot better for lightsaber combat.

Makes you want to kill them.įor the forst two levels, the game is like any bog Standard Shooter, shoot kill kill shoot, solve the odd puzzle, but after level two, things get a little more challenging when you get to learn how to use the force, and your lightsaber, then things become interesting. On the path to becoming a Jedi Master Jaden must fight through various missions taking place accross the galaxy, from Hoth to Tattoine. Stormtroopers crack off houmorless one liners as they try hard to kill you, and you can even smell the arrogance of Imperial Officers when they snipe words at you. As a Dark Jedi Cult known as the Disciples of Ragnos threaten the galaxy, Jaden Korr, a student of Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy must learn the ways of the jedi in order to defend it.
Come across an Imperial officer though, then his Marksman ship is greatly improved from that of the Stormtrooper, and its time to duck and pop off a few shots from behind cover. The Enemy AI of the Stormtroopers you encounter in the first level is not particularlly 'Intelligent', but they're not know for they're intelligence, so I suppose thats how it's meant to be.

The Game starts out how the first Dark Forces started out, only this tim in true rendered 3D, and much more detailed, play this game on a top end PC with all the graphics options turned up full, and you are in for some serious eye candy.
